qhsetech.com ("we", "us", or "our"), a project by The QHSE Standard, is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our website.

2. Information We Collect

We may collect information that you provide directly to us, including:

• Name and email address when you submit a contact form
• Company name and role when you submit a software listing or review
• Name, email, quiz answers and contact choices when you request a Get Matched email copy or callback
• Company, job title and phone when you request a Tekmon callback
• Usage data and analytics through cookies and similar technologies

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Operate, maintain, and improve our website
• Respond to your comments, questions, and requests
• Send you technical notices and updates
• Monitor and analyze trends, usage, and activities
• Facilitate software listing submissions and reviews

4. Information Sharing

Get Matched shows your shortlist without requiring contact details or saving a contact request. In-progress quiz answers are kept in this browser tab so you can resume. After seeing your results, you can request an email copy or a callback; submitting either saves that request with QHSEtech. Choosing the callback shares your name, email, company, job title, phone, quiz answers and suggested products with Tekmon's inbound team. Tekmon pays for sponsored placements on this site. An email copy alone does not request a callback. We record the selected options, the version of the contact notice and the time they were saved.

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share your information only in the following circumstances: with your consent, to comply with legal obligations, to protect our rights, or with service providers who assist us in operating our website.

5. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal information. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.

6. Cookies

This site does not show a cookie banner. When you visit, it loads analytics technologies that use cookies and similar technologies: Google Analytics (Google), Microsoft Clarity and, if a LinkedIn Partner ID is configured, the LinkedIn Insight Tag. We use them to measure traffic and understand how our content is used. This includes aggregate loading and responsiveness measurements such as LCP, INP and CLS. Our custom performance events contain the metric, a rounded value, rating and navigation type; they do not add form content, contact details, DOM selectors or custom user identifiers.

We also record page views, clicks to vendor websites and quiz steps in our own database, with a random session identifier kept in your browser tab. The site does not run advertising pixels or advertising scripts, and it does not send your contact details to advertising networks. You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings or an extension, and use the opt-out tools that Google and Microsoft provide. We do not currently act on Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signals.

We use Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors interact with qhsetech.com through behavioral metrics, heatmaps and session replay. Microsoft receives website usage data through cookies and similar technologies. We use these insights to improve navigation, content and our forms. We also send a short, fixed list of named events to Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity, for example when a comparison or scorecard is exported, when quiz results are viewed, and, since 19 October 2026, when you press a button that copies a template or checklist to your clipboard (since 21 October 2026 the same event is sent by the buttons that copy a template credit line or a link to a software profile) and, since 20 October 2026, when you press the link that downloads a template as a PDF or an Excel file, or the one that downloads all templates as a single ZIP. The event carries only its name. It never contains the text you copied, your quiz answers, your scorecard or any contact details, and the page it happened on is already part of the analytics record.

Separately from the tags above, we record when a visit arrives from an AI assistant such as ChatGPT, Perplexity, Copilot, Gemini or Claude. This uses no cookies and no browser storage: we log only the page you landed on and the name of the assistant that linked to you, taken from the referrer your browser already sends. No identifier is created and these entries cannot be traced back to you. We rely on our legitimate interest in knowing which of our pages assistants recommend.

7. Third-Party Links

Our website may contain links to third-party websites, including software vendor pages and review platforms (G2, Capterra, Software Advice). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these external sites.
