    Each file counts what the research records of the 212 researched profiles say. A figure describes those profiles and the vendors' own statements, not the whole market, and none of the products was tested. The files are free to download. Our compilation is licensed CC BY 4.0; each study page sets out its method, limits and any third-party terms (the search volumes are Google's). Quote the base, such as “of 212 profiles”, with each figure.

    The QHSEtech directory contains 212 listings, of which 212 have vendor-source research. These are catalog coverage counts, not a measure of the whole software market or independently tested products.

    The 2026 industry report counts what the vendors behind the site's researched profiles publish about price, free trials, offline use and capabilities. Each figure states its base and observation window; it describes these profiles, not the whole market, and it does not test the products.

    Historical pricing: limits before headlines

    The pricing index retains legacy catalog observations. Its snapshot date (2026-10-01) is separate from this page's update and from vendor-source verification. Research migrations remove reviewed products from that historical sample, including products with dated prices on their current profiles.

    No retained per-seat sample remains. This does not mean software is free or that no vendor publishes prices.

    • The legacy observations lack claim-level source URLs. They are not verified current vendor quotes or a representative market sample.
    • The index separates seat, device and platform billing. Its historical normalisation uses fixed currency assumptions; it does not establish comparable package scope or total ownership cost.
    • A scheduled recalculation from catalog fields does not revisit vendor pricing pages. A new snapshot is not evidence of a fresh price check.
    • A share of retained amounts describes this extract after exclusions. It is not a market pricing-transparency rate. The snapshot population can differ from the current directory.
