Tekmon vs Quentic: Workflow, Modules and Demo Evidence

Compare Tekmon and Quentic through one field finding, its central review and a corrected record. Identify the applications, roles and connections required.

Pair-specific vendor documentation reviewed on . Individual profile notes retain their own source dates below. The scenario and evaluation advice are editorial analysis; this is not a hands-on comparison.

Tekmon is a featured partner of QHSEtech. This comparison includes sponsored visibility for Tekmon; the same evaluation criteria apply to both vendors.

Which requirements should drive the decision?

The useful decision is where the field finding must go next. Tekmon documents configurable inspection and quality workflows; Quentic describes an app connected to selectable EHS modules. Both offer configurable forms. Compare the required record relationships, approval responsibilities and maintained configuration, without treating a modular platform or a configured workflow as automatically better.

    Consider Tekmon when…

    • The immediate project is replacing a defined inspection, finding and quality-review process with records your team can maintain together.
    • You can test the proposed form and approval changes with the future process owner and identify any supplier services needed after launch.
    Published scope and 2 sources

Tekmon's inspection page describes findings and corrective-action tracking. Its quality page adds configurable forms, approval workflows and document history. These are reasons to investigate a joined inspection-to-quality process, not proof that every proposed handoff, regulated workflow or offline approval is already configured.

    Consider Quentic when…

    • A field finding needs to connect with a named central EHS process, such as Risks & Audits or Hazardous Chemicals, and you can define the necessary module set.
    • Employees and external contributors need distinct reporting routes, and your evaluation includes the route into central review as well as the initial form.
    Published scope and 3 sources

Quentic offers selectable EHS modules and an app with customizable forms, documented offline incidents, inspections and photos, and reporting without an app login. It describes links to audit and chemical modules. Quentic Connect supports recurring data flows and interfaces established on request; inclusion and implementation still need a scoped proposal.

Run these three tasks in both demos

    1. Trace fictional finding F-TQ01 from the field form to the required central record and assigned action.

Acceptance evidence: The reviewer can retrieve the source finding, site, supporting file and responsible owner without losing their relationship. Identify each application or module used and show the required review decision. A second screen with copied text does not by itself establish a maintained link.

    2. Repeat the submission with an external participant and a disconnected employee.

Acceptance evidence: Separate the reporting routes, login requirements, access rights and licensing. For the mobile route, record preparation, offline capture, app restart and server receipt after reconnecting. Demonstrate any required external reporting route separately; no-login access does not establish offline support or visibility of internal records.

    3. Revise linked evidence, reject incomplete closure and export the complete review history.

Acceptance evidence: Preserve the earlier file and decision, show the correction and keep the assigned task linked to its origin. Ask the future administrator to change one routing rule. Export the agreed history and name any interface, configuration work or manual reconciliation needed to keep records consistent.

    Keep the decision open if…

Keep the decision open if a critical handoff is only described at brand level, the proposed roles cannot demonstrate it, or an external/offline route remains unclear. Neither published documentation nor module count establishes relative usability, implementation effort, synchronization reliability or site-specific regulatory suitability.

    Align the proposals

Price the same workflow, sites, contributors, reviewers, administrator responsibilities and historical records. Ask Tekmon to identify the configured applications and support scope; ask Quentic to identify the platform modules, app access and any Connect interface. For both, specify source/target fields, direction, failure handling, services, recurring charges and acceptance evidence. A product-page integration claim is not a delivered connection.

    What this comparison cannot establish

This review does not establish which product is easier, faster to implement or cheaper for your scope. Published app capture does not prove every approval, external reporting route or connected module works offline. An integration product or API reference does not establish a configured, licensed connection to your systems. Require a version-specific demonstration and written scope.

Mark a requirement as demonstrated, partly demonstrated, not demonstrated, or outside the quoted scope. Record the evidence and follow-up owner. Do not treat an unanswered question as proof that a capability is absent.

    Tekmon buyer notes

Does selecting the Quentic App or Tekmon's inspection workflow include the whole platform?

No inclusion is inferred here. Quentic describes combining the app with additional modules; Tekmon's documented quality and inspection features still require a scoped configuration and proposal. Name every application, participant role and connection needed for the same demonstration, then compare that complete scope.
