AI copilots inside QHSE workflows
Ask which summarisation, classification or retrieval feature is available in the proposed plan. Test it on your records and retain source references, errors, review effort and human approval.
Mobile and disconnected field work
List the tasks people complete away from a desk. Demonstrate prepared content, new records, attachments and server receipt on the intended device; test approvals and current shared status separately.
Reporting requirements and shared records
Confirm applicable reporting requirements before selecting applications. Trace one metric from its operational source through review to disclosure, whether the proposed arrangement uses one platform or connected products.
Predictive and leading-indicator analytics
Separate measured control checks and reporting activity from predictions. Ask for the definition, denominator, missing-data treatment and validation of any proposed risk score.
Device and telematics data connections
Name the source device, supported interface, mapping and support owner. Demonstrate a late or failed transfer and reconcile the received record with the source.
Computer vision for PPE and behaviour
For a proposed vision feature, evaluate the intended detection, false alerts, missed cases, privacy controls and human response on representative footage. Quote cameras, processing and integrations separately.
Scope 3 and supply-chain due diligence
Supplier assessment, emissions calculation and due-diligence evidence are different workflows. Confirm the applicable framework and test which application holds each record, review and follow-up.
Complete cost and commercial units
Compare the actual commercial unit, minimum commitment, modules, usage limits, implementation and ongoing administration. Do not infer total cost from a single seat price or a vendor’s market label.
What this means for your 2026 shortlist
- Set must-pass conditions from your actual field tasks and reporting obligations. Record an unsupported step as a gap.
- Ask for AI roadmap commitments in writing, but score what's shipping today — not 2027 promises.
- Compare total cost over the same contract period, including implementation, interfaces and internal administration.
- Specify the evidence and indicators your reviewers need, including source corrections, denominators and missing data.
