    How Vatix charges

Vatix prices the platform by plan with 5 standard users included and annual billing: Essentials from £199 a month and Professional from £399, with extra standard users at £19 and £29 per user per month.

Lone worker is priced apart, per device. The Safe Pro Device is £14.20 a month on a 12-month term plus a £60 upfront fee per unit, £11.40 on 36 months and £9.70 on 60 months.

Prices exclude VAT, and the record shows no free trial.

Read the platform price as a base plus users. The five standard users included in each plan cover a small team; beyond that each additional standard user is charged on top, so a team of ten on either plan pays the plan price plus five extra users at that plan's extra-user rate, billed annually. Workforce users are a separate and cheaper class, at £2.50 and £3.50 per user per month, so the split between people who need full access and people who only submit or read records can move the bill more than the choice of plan. The record does not define the difference between a standard and a workforce user, so ask for it in writing.

The lone worker device is where the term changes the price most. The monthly rate falls from £14.20 on a 12-month term to £11.40 on 36 months and £9.70 on 60 months, which is the usual trade of a lower rate for a longer commitment. The £60 upfront fee is written next to the 12-month rate, and the text does not make clear whether it also applies on the longer terms. A site unsure that it will still run lone worker devices in three years is paying for flexibility on the short term, and for certainty on the long one.

Fall detection is a second charge on the device side: it is listed as included with app licences and as £1 per device per month for the device itself, but one line on the app page is ambiguous. If your lone workers will use the app rather than a device, the answer decides whether a fall-detection charge exists at all, so get it confirmed before comparing the lone worker line with another vendor.

No free trial is shown, so an evaluation has to be agreed as part of the sales conversation. Ask for a time-limited pilot in writing, with what it covers and what happens at its end, rather than relying on the first invoice to find out how the product behaves without signal, which the reviewed pages do not describe.

What each Vatix plan covers, as recorded

    Essentials
The vendor lists limits of 5 forms, 20 templates and 50 documents for this plan.
    Workforce users
Charged per user per month at £2.50 and £3.50, alongside the standard users.
    Enterprise
By quote; no amount is shown.
    Lone worker app
An order needs at least 5 users, and the app prices are not itemised.
    Professional
From £399 a month with 5 standard users included. The record does not list what it adds over Essentials, so the price step cannot be judged from it; ask for a plan comparison covering limits, features and support.
    Safe Pro Device
Priced per device on a term of 12, 36 or 60 months; the 12-month rate carries a £60 upfront fee per unit, and whether the fee applies on the longer terms is not clear from the text.
    Fall detection
Listed as included with app licences and as £1 per device per month for the device; one app-page line is ambiguous.
    Monitoring and accreditation
The record gives no numeric alarm response time beyond audio opening within seconds, and treats accreditation and ISO 27001 as vendor statements to be shown by certificate.

    Editorial quote checklist

What to ask Vatix to put in the quote

Questions prepared by The QHSE Standard from the recorded terms and gaps; they are not statements from Vatix.

    • Whether app fall detection is included with app licences and the £1 charge applies to devices only: one app-page line is ambiguous.
    • A written app price for your user count, with a minimum of 5 users, since app prices are not itemised.
    • Who operates the two monitoring centres, and which alarm response times are contracted.
    • Whether the Essentials limits suit your sites.
    • Which of your people count as standard users and which as workforce users, with the permissions of each, since the two are priced at different rates (the workforce rates are £2.50 and £3.50).
    • The term, the monthly rate and any upfront fee for each Safe Pro Device term you are considering, and whether the upfront fee applies to every term.
    • Certificates for BS 8484:2022 and ISO 27001, naming the holder and the centres covered, instead of relying on the vendor's own statement.
    • A contracted numeric alarm response time, because the reviewed pages give none beyond audio opening within seconds.
    • Whether audits and incident reports can be completed with no signal and what syncs afterwards, and which named integrations are in scope; neither is described on the reviewed pages.
    • An evaluation arrangement in writing, since no free trial is shown, and VAT on top of every amount.

Vendor sources support the recorded prices and plan terms. Explanatory summaries, worked examples and quote questions are The QHSE Standard's editorial interpretation or calculations, not vendor statements.
