    Dot Compliance

Dot Compliance sells a pre-built eQMS that runs natively on Salesforce: eleven process applications from document control to electronic batch records, a validation documentation package in the subscription, and Dottie, a layer of AI agents.

    Evidence: Researched profile

Built from vendor sources checked ; AI-assisted drafting. Documentation review, not a hands-on test. How pages are made

    Who is Dot Compliance for?

Pharma, biotech and medical-device quality teams that want a preconfigured eQMS rather than a workflow toolkit. The pre-validated package covers the vendor's delivered configuration. Changes you make to it need your own assessment, so map your procedures against the delivered workflows before contract.

Fits a life-sciences manufacturer that wants inspection-ready processes quickly on a Salesforce-hosted cloud service. Outside the industries the site lists (pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, cosmetics), check that the delivered workflows use your terminology.

Watch for: AI agents need defined boundaries and a named human approver before they touch GxP records.

Quality-event intake and severity routingDocumented by vendor

Investigation evidence and linked recordsDocumented by vendor

Users can attach photographs, laboratory results and data logs directly to a deviation or nonconformance, while investigations can link the event to CAPAs, training, documents, suppliers and equipment records.

    Dot Compliance pricing

    Subscription, quote only

Dot Compliance publishes no subscription amount: the site navigation has no pricing page and /pricing/ returned a 404 page on 25 September and again on 2 October 2026. Ask the quote to separate applications, users, Dottie AI agents and implementation services.

Pricing sources checked : Selected sources checked; no starting price recorded. The free-trial form says the trial is offered only after Dot Compliance pre-qualifies the requester; demos are requested through a separate form.

Which product scope should the quote cover?

This profile covers the Quality Management suite's eleven process applications. Clinical Management and Regulatory Management are separate solutions on the same site and need their own scope.

Ask the vendor to identify the product, region, modules, billing unit, contract term and included services in writing.

Browser access through Salesforce; offline mode not documented

None of the eleven process pages, the eQMS page or the Salesforce page reviewed on 25 September and 2 October 2026 mentions an offline mode or mobile synchronisation; access is through the browser via Salesforce. Plan for an online-only service unless the vendor demonstrates otherwise.

    What we could not verify

    1 note
    • Offline use is not documented for any Dot Compliance application.

    Demo script

Demo: a distributor complaint that becomes a CAPA

    1. Log a product complaint from a distributor and let the risk rules set its priority and route.
    2. Escalate it to an investigation and CAPA, approve the plan and read back the recorded signature meaning.
    3. Open the audit trail and confirm each signature points to the record version it approved.

Demo: change a delivered SOP workflow

    1. Ask which steps of the delivered document workflow can change without voiding the vendor's validation evidence.
    2. Check out an SOP in Office 365, route the revision for approval and assign training by job title.
    3. Request the validation documents covering the changed configuration and the next release.

Demo: investigate a recurring deviation and escalate it to CAPA

    1. Log a deviation, classify it as minor, major or critical, attach a laboratory result and data log, and inspect the approval path and response timeline selected for that severity.
    2. Run the investigation, record the root cause, link the relevant document, training, supplier or equipment record, and promote the event to CAPA when the escalation criterion is met.
    3. Open the quality-event dashboard, confirm the event appears under its type, root cause and department, then navigate back to the source event and its retained evidence.

Ask the vendor to show you

    1. Which Salesforce org and edition does the subscription run in, and who administers releases in it?
    2. What does the validation documentation package contain, and how is it refreshed when Salesforce or Dot Compliance releases change?
    3. What does free-trial pre-qualification require, and which applications does the trial enable?

    Checks specific to this product

    Delivered workflow fit:
Walk your change-control and complaint SOPs through the delivered workflows step by step and list every gap before contract; each later change leaves the pre-validated baseline.
    Salesforce release ownership:
Agree who assesses each Salesforce platform release and Dot Compliance update against your validated state, and what regression evidence the vendor supplies each time.
    Batch record integration:
If EBR is in scope, ask for a delivered MES interface with field mapping and error handling; the EBR page describes MES, LIMS and ERP links without naming systems.

    Questions the sources answer

Which industries and regulations does Dot Compliance design for?

The site lists pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device and cosmetics solutions, and names 21 CFR Parts 210, 211 and 820, ISO 13485 and ISO 14971 among its standards. That list describes target markets; it is not a certification of the product.

Does Dot Compliance hold ISO/IEC 27001 certification?

Its why-Dot-Compliance page states the company is certified with ISO/IEC 27001, 27017 and 42001 and ISO 9001; the eQMS page only lists them as standards. The certificates were not reviewed, so ask for them, the issuing body and the scope.

Does Dottie act on quality records by itself?

The vendor says agents share insights along with their context and stop for an expert’s approval before critical steps proceed, and that authorised quality managers can coach Dottie through feedback. Decide which records an agent may draft, and who signs them, before enabling it.

    Sources and change log

    13 sources, checked
    • : Re-read all 12 sources on 2 October 2026: process, Salesforce, Dottie AI and trial statements still match; the pricing path still returned a 404 page; no statement changed.
    • : Expanded quality-event coverage with official evidence for severity routing, investigation attachments and linked records, dashboard trending and an evaluation workflow from deviation intake to CAPA.
    • : Rechecked on the vendor site: added the Salesforce FAQ (no Salesforce licence needed, validation package in the subscription, Part 11 and Annex 11 signature controls), complaint, EBR and Dottie AI scope, and the pre-qualified free trial. Replaced the generic demo script and evaluation checks with Dot Compliance-specific ones.
