How Intelex charges
Only the entry tier has a list price: Safety Essentials at US$44 per user per month, billed annually, for at least 25 users. Advanced and Enterprise are scoped quotes.
Because the entry tier is billed annually for a minimum of 25 users, the smallest purchase is a year of 25 seats even for a smaller group. Budget from the minimum, not from the number of people who will log in daily.
The listed price covers incidents, action plans and inspections only. The pricing page shows four Essentials add-ons (Training, Document Control, Meetings and Observations/Hazard ID) and does not list Permit to Work or ESG as Essentials add-ons. A programme that also needs either is therefore an entry price plus items with no published amount: ask how and at which tier they are bought, because the recheck found no complete price for a Permit to Work and ESG bundle and that part of the budget has to come from a quote.
Mobile scope depends on the tier, and a native offline entitlement is not established for Essentials. If crews work without signal, get the mobile entitlement of the exact tier in writing before comparing it with a cheaper per-user tool.
A published list of application connections shows what Intelex connects to in general; it does not establish that your own systems will connect. Treat each integration as a separate scoping and pricing item.
Intelex published prices

What each Intelex plan covers, as recorded
- Safety Essentials
- Includes incidents, action plans and inspections.
- Not included: the other listed safety applications, which are add-ons; a native offline entitlement is not established for Essentials.
- Advanced and Enterprise
- No amount is publicly established on the pricing page; their features do not carry over to Essentials.
- Add-on applications
- The pricing page shows Training, Document Control, Meetings and Observations/Hazard ID as add-ons to Essentials, so each one is its own line in a quote. Permit to Work and ESG are not listed there as Essentials add-ons: ask how and at which tier they are bought.
- Trial
- Offered on request. Its length and which applications are enabled in it are not stated, so a trial may not show the tier or add-ons you would buy.
Entry cost, worked out
Safety Essentials: 25 users × USD 44 per user per month × 12 months = USD 13,200 per year.
Intelex for 50 and for 100 users, per year
| Rate | 50 users | 100 users |
|---|---|---|
| Safety Essentials, per user | 50 × USD 44 × 12 = USD 26,400 | 100 × USD 44 × 12 = USD 52,800 |
List price for Safety Essentials only: no add-on application, Advanced or Enterprise cost is included. Both sizes are above the 25-user minimum, so the minimum does not change these totals; a group below 25 would still be billed for 25.
Editorial quote checklist
What to ask Intelex to put in the quote
Questions prepared by The QHSE Standard from the recorded terms and gaps; they are not statements from Intelex.
- Permit to Work, ESG, mobile, integration and implementation scope, each priced.
- The mobile entitlement in the exact tier quoted.
- Each connector, API entitlement, implementation owner and recurring cost.
- The Permit to Work application itself, not regulatory permit tracking in its place.
- The trial: offered by request; ask for its duration and the enabled applications.
- An offline incident captured with media, then reconnected, with the assigned action traced through to review, shown in the tier you would be sold.
- A test of the HR connection: change a test worker's site, manager and employment status in the source system, then inspect assignments, access and what happens when synchronisation fails.
- An ESG source value corrected on screen, with its evidence, calculation assumptions and effect on the report shown, if ESG is in scope.
- A Permit to Work request, authorisation and changed-condition workflow shown separately from regulatory permit renewal.
- Who may change configuration in the quoted tier, and which licences and handoffs between Intelex and your team the proposal names.
