    HSI Donesafe

HSI Donesafe is a candidate for teams replacing separate reporting forms and follow-up registers. Its modular approach supports a staged rollout, with no-code configuration and documented offline capture. Buyers should assess both frontline usability and the administrative work needed to maintain the configuration.

    Who is HSI Donesafe for?

Organizations needing adaptable safety workflows and a staged module rollout across workers and contractors. Configuration flexibility needs a named internal owner. Validate the purchased modules, contributor population and disconnected workflow before comparing total cost.

Worth shortlisting when configurable workflows would replace several disconnected safety processes. Start with the modules needed for a specific reporting-to-resolution workflow and compare configuration and support costs with the administration saved.

Watch for: Numeric pricing and currency are not public on the reviewed page. Configuration ownership and maintenance need planning. Offline conflicts and attachment limits need a practical demo.

    Capabilities and scope

HSI Donesafe is a configurable EHSQ platform sold with selected application modules. A module shown in the catalog should not be assumed to be included in every subscription. HSI announced its acquisition of Donesafe on 4 February 2020, and Donesafe uses the HSI Donesafe name. These listings share ownership; confirm the product, modules and contract rather than treating the names as independent vendors or identical subscriptions. Donesafe's company page also states that Donesafe is part of the HSI family.

    HSI Donesafe pricing

    Subscription, contact vendor

Pricing is customized using the total number of workers, selected application modules and support services. No numeric rate, currency or billing interval is publicly specified on the reviewed pricing page. Request a quote defining contractors and occasional contributors, implementation, configuration changes, integration access and ongoing support. The pricing page refers to 50+ modules while the modular platform page says 60+, so the two pages disagree on the module count; ask Donesafe which modules your proposal covers.

Ask the vendor to identify the product, region, modules, billing unit, contract term and included services in writing.

Offline app and automatic sync documented; limits need demo

Donesafe documents an offline application for forms, checklists, audits, hazards and incidents, with automatic synchronization after reconnection. Test the target device and workflow rather than assuming the browser experience has identical offline behavior.

    What we could not verify

    2 depend on scope · 3 notes
    • Depends on plan or configuration: Modular deployment; System integration.
    • The pricing page says the vendor can help set up a sandbox of the customer's environment as part of a guided evaluation; its scope, duration and any charge are not stated.
    • Worker count, chosen modules and support services are disclosed as pricing inputs; numeric rates and a self-service free trial were not verified.
    • This research did not verify attachment limits, concurrent edit handling or disconnected access to every configured module.

    Demo script

Demo exercise: offline hazard to action

    1. Load the intended form, disconnect the device and capture a test hazard with a photo.
    2. Restart the application, reconnect and inspect the uploaded record and evidence.
    3. Assign a corrective action and show what the reporter can see when it closes.

    Demo exercise: contractor onboarding

    1. Invite a test contractor to register and upload a qualification.
    2. Show the notification and access outcome for an expired qualification.
    3. Log a contractor hazard and verify visibility for the contractor and site manager.

Demo exercise: quality nonconformance to verified CAPA

    1. Log a representative nonconformance against a named specification and attach supporting evidence.
    2. Complete the investigation and root-cause step, then assign corrective and preventive actions to separate owners.
    3. Reject weak closure evidence, verify the corrected response and export the approval and change history.

Ask the vendor to show you

    1. How are contractors and occasional contributors counted in the worker-based quote?
    2. Which configured modules and fields are available in the offline application?
    3. Who maintains forms and automation after implementation, and what support is included?
    4. What happens when two users edit the same record before synchronization?

    Checks specific to this product

    Module and worker-count basis:
Pricing is customised by number of workers, modules and support services. Request a quote that defines how contractors and occasional contributors are counted, and lists implementation, configuration changes and integration access separately.
    Incident stages and reviewer separation:
The incident module describes triage, root-cause analysis, investigation review, corrective actions and actions review. Enter a test incident and demonstrate who can approve each stage, including rejection and reopening, and retain the stage log.

    Questions the sources answer

Does Donesafe work without internet access?

The offline application supports forms and checklists, including safety capture, then syncs after reconnection. Confirm the selected modules, attachments and conflict handling with your actual devices.

Can contractors report directly in Donesafe?

Contractor Management describes self-registration and direct incident or hazard logging. That does not establish anonymous or account-free reporting. Ask to see the contractor's exact registration and access steps.

Can a team introduce Donesafe gradually?

The modular platform allows a selected set of connected applications. Start by testing one complete operational workflow and its owner responsibilities. Add modules after agreeing configuration governance and the commercial effect.
