    EASE

EASE focuses on recurring plant-floor checks, including layered process audits. It documents scheduling, rotating questions and tracking findings across manufacturing locations. Compare the base audit subscription with the tiers needed for formal action plans and on-the-job training, then use a disconnected shop-floor audit in the pilot. Its current integration page documents a REST API and event-driven webhooks, while the vendor-published DPA adds data-processing, subprocessors and assurance context that should be reviewed for the proposed contract.

    Evidence: Researched profile

Built from vendor sources checked ; AI-assisted drafting. Documentation review, not a hands-on test. How pages are made

    Who is EASE for?

Manufacturing teams standardizing layered process audits and follow-up across shifts or plants. No amounts are published on the pricing page; pricing is per site for unlimited users, is calculated from site headcount and is in addition to a flat implementation fee; confirm the currency, headcount band, sites and services. Unlimited users does not mean unlimited sites or every module. On-the-Job Training and Auditor Qualifications are documented as PRO; the pages re-read do not state which plan includes Action Plans, EASE Connect/data warehouse, Files Manager or each level of API/webhook access, except that PLUS and PRO provide enhanced integration capabilities. Offline auditing is documented, but cache limits, device replacement, attachment retry, conflict resolution and authoritative receipt require a controlled pilot. Safety, maintenance and quality audit templates do not establish a full EHS, QMS or maintenance-management system. EASE IQ depends on cameras, models and site conditions; detection accuracy, false alarms, privacy, worker consultation, retention and human validation must be scoped, and functions labelled coming soon are not current commitments. AI translation and AI-generated training require human review; official pages currently cite different language counts, so confirm the exact supported interface and content languages. API, webhook and warehouse access vary by tier, and vendor-published SOC 2, encryption and DPA statements are due-diligence evidence rather than an independent assessment by QHSEtech.

EASE is a focused candidate for recurring manufacturing audits. Compare the cost of the complete follow-up workflow, and use your own shift pattern and question rotation in the demo.

    Capabilities and scope

This profile covers the EASE manufacturing plant-floor audit and inspection platform from Ease.io. EASE IQ is a separately presented AI/camera capability with some roadmap items marked coming soon.

EASE capabilities, evidence status and source links
    CapabilityEvidenceScope and source
Layered process audit schedulingDocumented by vendor

EASE documents layered scheduling across shifts, lines and management layers, question rotation/randomization, reminders and escalation. Buyers should validate PTO, reassignment, grace-period and missed-audit rules against real shift patterns.

Multiple manufacturing audit typesDocumented by vendor

The audit catalogue names LPA, safety, quality, maintenance, 5S, Gemba, ad hoc and custom audit use cases. These are configurable audit scopes, not proof of a complete EHS, QMS or CMMS product.

    Supported audit and inspection types
Audit administration and question librariesDocumented by vendor

EASE documents centralized scheduling, checklist/question administration and program consistency across shifts and sites. Validate import, versioning, approval, effective-date and retired-question history.

Mobile and offline auditsDocumented by vendor

The mobile page states that audits and changes can be completed outside Wi-Fi range and supports photos on major mobile devices. The page says auditors download assigned audits while connected, then complete the audit offline and synchronize on reconnection. It does not document cache limits, conflict logic, lost-device recovery or attachment retry, which require pilot validation.

Mobile plant audits and offline scope
QR launch, photos and mobile findingsDocumented by vendor

The mobile product page documents QR scan-to-start, photo evidence, instant issue logging and movement of issues into Action Plans. Action Plans remain tier-dependent.

Findings and immediate follow-upDocumented by vendor

The LPA page describes failed questions becoming owned findings and closure verification, while the mobile page describes on-the-spot action. Distinguish immediate finding follow-up from the formal Action Plans product, which is plan-dependent.

Formal Action Plans and root-cause analysisDepends on scope

The pricing FAQ refers to plans that include Corrective Actions but the pages re-read do not name them; the Action Plans page documents 8D, 5 Whys, DMAIC-style workflows, owners, approvers, due dates, evidence, validation and history. Confirm the templates, approvals and effectiveness criteria configured for the buyer.

    Reporting and dashboardsDocumented by vendor

EASE documents configurable single-site and multi-site dashboards and reports for completion, findings, past dues and trends. 'Real-time' visibility depends on synchronized data and governed metric definitions.

    API and webhooksDepends on scope

EASE documents REST API/webhook use cases for QMS, HR and Teams integration. The pricing FAQ says PLUS and PRO provide enhanced integration capabilities; confirm endpoints, events, authentication, rate limits, retries and ownership.

Data warehouse and BI connectivityDepends on scope

The reporting and platform pages name EASE Connect for data-warehouse and BI tools; the pages re-read do not state which plan includes it. Confirm schema, refresh cadence, historical corrections, identity keys and whether BI is read-only or participates in workflows.

    On-the-Job TrainingDepends on scope

PRO includes On-the-Job Training. The product page documents training tied to findings, supervisor-led or self-paced delivery, comprehension checks, assignments and dashboards; it should not automatically be treated as a general-purpose LMS.

Official support documentation marks Auditor Qualifications as EASE PRO and describes skills, optional document requirements, expiration and qualification-aware scheduling. Manual credential assignment still needs governance and evidence.

2 additional areas. Status describes reviewed sources, not hands-on performance.

Also watch for: Pricing depends on site headcount and no amounts are published. Implementation fees are additional. Offline recovery and synchronization details need pilot verification.

    EASE pricing

    Per-site subscription

The pricing page shows no amount and no plan table. It describes plant-size-based pricing with unlimited users and unlimited audit programs, says the price per site is calculated from the number of employees at each site and refers buyers to the sales team for a quote. A flat implementation fee, covering training and onboarding, is charged in addition to the subscription. The FAQ says PLUS and PRO provide enhanced integration capabilities and that plans including Corrective Actions and On-the-Job Training offer unlimited use. Confirm the currency, exact headcount band, plan and total implementation cost. The pricing FAQ also states that you may be eligible for a free trial depending on your use case, through the sales team.

Pricing sources checked : Partially verified. The pricing page shows no tier amounts, plan table or annual-billing statement; it states site-headcount-based pricing and a flat implementation fee. Currency, site band, final scope and any trial terms require confirmation.

Which product scope should the quote cover?

Manufacturing audits and inspections with mobile/offline collection, findings and dashboards; formal Action Plans, BI/data-warehouse connectivity, on-the-job training, qualifications and EASE IQ require the applicable tier or separately scoped capability.

Ask the vendor to identify the product, region, modules, billing unit, contract term and included services in writing.

    Offline work and integrations

The Mobile Plant Audits page explicitly describes auditing and making changes offline. The page says auditors download assigned audits while connected and that data synchronizes on reconnection; it does not define cache limits, conflict resolution or recovery after a device failure. Demonstrate synchronization and server receipt before relying on a disconnected shift.

    What we could not verify

    7 depend on scope · 2 notes
    • Depends on plan or configuration: Formal Action Plans and root-cause analysis; API and webhooks; Data warehouse and BI connectivity; On-the-Job Training; Auditor qualifications; Security and data-processing evidence; EASE IQ camera and AI detection.
    • Base EASE, EASE PLUS and EASE PRO have materially different entitlements: On-the-Job Training and Auditor Qualifications are published for PRO, Files Manager is associated with PRO, and the pricing page says PLUS and PRO provide enhanced integration capabilities; the pages re-read do not state which plan includes Action Plans or data-warehouse connectivity.
    • The reviewed scope does not establish EASE as a full QMS, EHS management suite, LMS or CMMS replacement.

    Demo script

Demo exercise: offline audit to verified finding closure

    1. Schedule a representative audit across two shifts with rotating questions and one absent auditor.
    2. Prepare the mobile device, disable connectivity, scan a QR code and record a failed question with photo evidence.
    3. Create a conflicting online edit before reconnecting, then verify synchronization, duplicate/conflict handling and attachment receipt.
    4. Assign follow-up, capture closure evidence, obtain verification and export the complete history available in the quoted tier.

Demo exercise: Action Plan and effectiveness check

    1. Convert a finding into a formal Action Plan using the buyer's preferred RCA method.
    2. Assign owner, approver, due dates, containment and corrective tasks with supporting evidence.
    3. Complete approval and create a later validation activity that tests whether the fix remains effective.
    4. Review overdue escalation, full history and recurrence trend across sites.

Demo exercise: PRO training and qualification gate

    1. Link a knowledge-gap finding to targeted training for a worker or team.
    2. Complete content review plus comprehension or practical verification and retain evidence.
    3. Award a qualification, attach it as a requirement to an assessment and set an expiration date.
    4. Attempt to schedule an unqualified or expired auditor and verify the documented scheduling restriction.

Ask the vendor to show you

    1. Which sites, headcount band, currency, annual term and implementation services are included in the quote?
    2. Which exact EASE, PLUS or PRO entitlements are required for our Action Plans, BI, training, qualifications and Files Manager workflows?
    3. How do randomized and PTO-aware schedules handle shifts, absences, reassignment, grace periods, missed audits and escalation?
    4. Show a failed question becoming a finding, immediate containment, assigned action, RCA, approval, effectiveness verification and verified closure.
    5. Which parts of that closed-loop workflow are available in base EASE versus PLUS?
    6. How are offline audit packages prepared, encrypted, synchronized and recovered after conflicting edits, app termination, device loss or attachment failure?

    Questions the sources answer

    Is On-the-Job Training included?

The On-the-Job Training page says it is available to EASE PRO plan subscribers. Its official page describes finding-linked frontline training, not a guarantee that it replaces every LMS use case.

    Does EASE support offline audits?

Yes, the mobile page documents audits and changes outside Wi-Fi range. It does not explain all cache, conflict, lost-device and failed-attachment behavior, so test those scenarios before production reliance.
