    Intellect QMS

Intellect QMS is built on a drag-and-drop app builder: plans start with five apps (document control, training, nonconformance, CAPA and audits) from more than 25 prebuilt ones. It targets discrete and process manufacturers as much as life sciences.

    Evidence: Researched profile

Built from vendor sources checked ; AI-assisted drafting. Documentation review, not a hands-on test. How pages are made

    Who is Intellect QMS for?

Manufacturers that want to configure their own quality apps and link them to shop-floor checks. A no-code builder moves design work to your team: each changed app is yours to specify, test and keep under change control.

Fits a team with an administrator who can own configuration, and plants that want nonconformances raised straight from frontline checks.

Watch for: The two larger tiers bundle EHS and lean operations that a QMS-only buyer may not need.

Published price: $26k for the Core plan; billing period not stated. Trial or demo on request. Sources checked .

    Capabilities and scope

Intellect was founded in Los Angeles in 2000 as a business process management platform and is registered on SAM.gov as Interneer Inc. In November 2025 it acquired the Zaptic Connected Frontline Worker product. This profile covers Intellect QMS as shown on the vendor pages on 2 October 2026.

Audit scheduling and assignmentDocumented by vendor

The official QMS demo page describes ad hoc or recurring assessment assignments to sites, areas, teams or auditors, with schedule-based reminders. Demonstrate finding review and downstream CAPA in the quoted application rather than treating scheduling as proof of complete closure controls.

Controlled documents and approval routingDepends on scope

Document Control describes centralized versions and revisions, role-based routing, approvals, secure electronic signatures, audit trails, notifications and periodic reviews, with links to training and change workflows. The pricing and Apps pages differ on tier inclusion, so confirm entitlement and Part 11 configuration.

    Intellect QMS pricing

Published starting prices, SaaS or on-premises; tailored quotes

The pricing page lists Core from $26k (AWS hosting, work instructions, QMS, skills and training), Operational Control from $32k (adds lean operations, EHS and document control) and Enterprise Transformation from $47k (adds enterprise support and the Enterprise Control Center), with no billing period, term or user count. Document control is ticked only from Operational Control upward, although the Apps page lists it among the five starting apps; clarify this before choosing Core. Competitor price matching and a custom tier are also advertised.

Pricing sources checked : Checked against the vendor's published pricing. The full page loaded in a browser on 25 September 2026; on 20 September direct retrieval had returned HTTP 403. Demos are sales-led, and the site lists no self-service trial.

Native mobile offline mode documented; covered apps need a demo

The QMS datasheet (v1.3.26.25) describes native iOS and Android apps with an offline mode that syncs once reconnected, and mobile audits, CAPAs, inspections and approvals. Ask which apps work offline, because the datasheet names features rather than apps.

    What we could not verify

    Demo script

Demo: a failed shop-floor check to a closed CAPA

    1. Have an operator run a digital check on a phone with the network off and record a failure with a photo.
    2. Reconnect, confirm the failed check created an NCR, and let Intellect AI propose a 5 Whys analysis.
    3. Edit the proposed cause, assign the CAPA and approve it with the built-in Part 11 signature or DocuSign.

Demo: change an app in the builder

    1. Add a step to the NCR workflow in the drag-and-drop editor, with your administrator at the keyboard.
    2. Show how the change is versioned, tested and released to production users.
    3. Export the configuration record and test evidence your validation team would review.

Demo exercise: controlled SOP revision to verified retraining

    1. Revise a controlled SOP, route it to separate reviewer and approver roles, reject once and release the corrected version.
    2. Verify the superseded version is unavailable for normal execution while its history and signatures remain auditable.
    3. Assign retraining to affected roles and sites, include a reviewed comprehension quiz and flag one expired qualification.
    4. Complete training on mobile and export the linked revision, approvals, population, result, reminders and competency record.

Ask the vendor to show you

    1. What billing period, term and user count do the three starting prices assume?
    2. Which Zaptic frontline features are in the quoted plan, and do they share records with the QMS apps?
    3. Can Intellect AI be switched off per app, and which OpenAI models and retention settings sit behind it?

    Checks specific to this product

    Configuration ownership:
Name the administrator who will change apps, and check the builder's role permissions so that only they can publish workflow changes.
    ERP order data:
If you run NetSuite, import a real work order through the prebuilt connector and raise an NCR against it; for other ERPs, ask who builds and maintains the REST mapping.
    Hosting and data residency:
Choose AWS US, AWS EU or on-premises before the quote, since each changes who patches, backs up and validates the environment.

    Questions the sources answer

    Is Intellect ISO certified?

The company says Bureau Veritas certified it to ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and ISO 27001. Those certificates cover Intellect as an organisation; they do not validate the QMS you configure.

Does Intellect use our data to train AI models?

Its AI data-security page says customer data is not used for model training, travels over HTTPS with JSON Web Tokens and is encrypted at rest. The features run on OpenAI models, with API key management for private OpenAI instances; check that against your data-transfer rules.

    • : Added controlled-document routing and employee training or competency scope with an SOP-revision-to-retraining exercise, bringing the profile to the directory's deep-evidence threshold.
    • : Checked the audit workflow against the linked primary product page. General profile and commercial review dates remain unchanged.
    • : Replaced the unverified pricing note: the full pricing page loaded and shows Core from $26k, Operational Control from $32k and Enterprise Transformation from $47k, without a billing period. Added hosting options, named connectors, the Zaptic frontline product, AI data handling and product-specific demo checks.
