    Qualio

Qualio connects controlled procedures with the training and quality actions they affect. A useful evaluation starts with a changed procedure or supplier issue: follow the review, approvals, associated training and evidence needed to close the record. Its public materials describe configurable quality workflows and validation support; your team must still establish suitability for its intended use.

    Evidence: Researched profile

Built from vendor sources checked ; AI-assisted drafting. Documentation review, not a hands-on test. How pages are made

    Who is Qualio for?

Life-science quality teams replacing separate document, training, CAPA and supplier records with a connected eQMS. A vendor validation pack is an input to your assurance process, not approval of your configured use. Define responsibilities, review scope and acceptance evidence before go-live.

Qualio can justify its subscription and implementation fee when controlled documents, training and quality events need a shared life-science workflow. It is less compelling for teams needing only simple inspections or expecting every integration and regulatory framework in the base package.

Watch for: Implementation and configured workflow assurance need customer participation. Template, integration and instance requirements need plan-level scoping.

    Capabilities and scope

Qualio is a cloud quality and compliance platform for life sciences. This profile covers its current eQMS product; the Foundation, Growth and Scale offerings have different commercial and configuration scope.

    Connected change controlDocumented by vendor

Qualio describes review and approval of changes across documents, design controls and quality artifacts, linked training and CAPAs, notifications, history and exportable logs. Define impact, implementation and verification stages rather than treat the workflow as prevalidated.

    Developer APIDepends on scope

In the plan table the Developer API sits under Growth and not Foundation. Qualio documents a token-authenticated REST API across named resources. Administrative access, endpoint coverage and fair-usage limits are documented, while connector allowances and Integration Hub scope remain plan-dependent.

Immutable platform audit trailDocumented by vendor

Qualio states that attributable timestamped audit entries cannot be altered or deleted through the interface, including by administrators. Alignment statements remain vendor documentation and IP-derived geolocation is approximate.

    Qualio pricing

    Annual subscription; tailored quote

Foundation includes 5 edit users and Growth 10; basic users are unlimited in both. Scale has custom pricing and implementation. An implementation fee applies to all plans. The reviewed page supplies no subscription amount; do not use the previous $749/month catalog value as current pricing. Request additional-user, integration and instance costs in writing. Foundation lists 5 quality-event templates and Growth unlimited. The development-tools catalogue lists 2 versus up to 3 integrations, while the page separately labels Integration Hub as an add-on. Framework allowances are 3 versus 5. Confirm included connectors and additional integration or framework charges in the quote.

Pricing sources checked : Selected sources checked; no starting price recorded. Foundation/Growth edit-user allowances and implementation fees reconfirmed; current pricing distinguishes included integrations from Integration Hub add-ons, while validation remains a customer-specific assurance process.

Which product scope should the quote cover?

The eQMS and product-development scope can include controlled documents and change, training, suppliers, quality events, audits, design controls, risk, parts and BOM, software-development evidence, API and integrations, and AI-assisted workflows. Clinical EDC, study-build services, implementation, professional services and some clinical add-ons are separately scoped. Confirm the exact subscribed products, users, sites, studies, storage, integrations and services.

Ask the vendor to identify the product, region, modules, billing unit, contract term and included services in writing.

    Demo script

    Procedure revision to completed training

    1. Select a controlled procedure and propose a change using the configured review process.
    2. Approve the revision and demonstrate the training assignments triggered for the relevant roles.
    3. Check outstanding training and retrieve the approved version, assignment and completion evidence.

Supplier issue to reviewed corrective action

    1. Identify the affected supplier and open a quality event with supporting evidence.
    2. Demonstrate investigation and assigned corrective actions, including any linked procedure or training change.
    3. Request an effectiveness check and show how the reviewer records closure or further work.

    Design change through traceability review

    1. In a sandbox, create a representative product with requirements, tests and risk policy.
    2. Change one design input and identify affected outputs, risks, verification tests and documents.
    3. Route the change for review, reject it once and record corrected evidence.
    4. Generate traceability and change-history outputs and reconcile them with the audit trail.

Ask the vendor to show you

    1. Revise an SOP, approve it and show affected training assignments and the retained version history.
    2. Take a supplier nonconformance through investigation, corrective action and an effectiveness check; show the closure decision.
    3. Show how supplier risk changes required documents, approval and audit scheduling.
    4. Provide the proposed plan, edit-user count, event-template allowances and separately priced integrations.
    5. Identify who approves intended-use risks, configuration and validation evidence, including after a product update.

    Questions the sources answer

Is a demo the same as a free trial?

No. An official demo request is available, but a self-service free trial was not established from the reviewed sources.

Does the validation pack finish our validation?

No. Qualio describes a partnership: customers assess intended use and risks, document relevant configuration and summarize suitability for use. Review the supplied evidence within your own assurance process.

Can training follow a document change?

Qualio publishes training workflows for newly approved documents and role-based assignments. Demonstrate your revision, training and completion rules with a sample procedure.

Does purchasing Qualio guarantee regulatory compliance?

No such guarantee is established by this profile. Product features and supporting documents do not replace your procedures, controls, approvals and assessment of applicable requirements.
