    How Fieldwire by Hilti charges

Fieldwire by Hilti is priced per user per month on three paid tiers. The reviewed dollar display lists Pro at 39, Business at 64 and Business Plus at 89 when billed annually, and the billing guide lists the monthly-subscription rates as $54, $79 and $104.

Each tier therefore carries two prices, and the monthly one is higher by the same amount on all three tiers. The two sets of figures come from different sources, a pricing display and a billing guide, so a quote should say which billing term it assumes before the two are compared.

Basic is a free tier within its limits and sits apart from the paid ladder. The review documents a 14-day Business trial, but only as a limited beta for eligible new accounts in the US and Canada, so a buyer elsewhere should not plan an evaluation around it.

The currency is the open point. The display is in dollars, but no ISO code was verified for it and taxes are not addressed, so confirm both in writing before setting the figures against a quote in another currency.

A per-user price is not the whole bill on a construction project. Invited users can create extra charges, so the cost depends on who is added to a project as well as on how many employees hold a licence. List the subcontractors and consultants who would be invited and ask whether each one counts as a paid user.

The tier list does not price everything a safety programme may need. API and SSO are described as needing a separate commercial discussion, so a quote that shows only the per-user tier is incomplete if either one is a requirement.

What each Fieldwire by Hilti plan covers, as recorded

    Basic
Free within its limits. The limits themselves are not set out in the reviewed pricing summary, so read them from the vendor's current page. Custom forms are not included.
    Pro
    Not included: custom forms.
Reports and exports begin lower in the tier structure than custom forms, so a team that needs reports but not custom forms may not need a higher tier.
    Business and Business Plus
    Includes custom forms.
Which safety form fields and approvals Business covers is a question for the quote; the pricing summary does not settle it.
    API and SSO
Not part of the tier prices: described as needing a separate commercial discussion.
    Invited users
Can create extra charges, and the pricing text says to check overages.

    Editorial quote checklist

What to ask Fieldwire by Hilti to put in the quote

Questions prepared by The QHSE Standard from the recorded terms and gaps; they are not statements from Fieldwire by Hilti.

    • Which invited contractors, subcontractors and consultants would count as chargeable users, and at what rate, since invited users can create extra charges.
    • The roles, projects, invited contractors, templates, API, SSO, storage sync and support scope, each quoted as its own line.
    • A demonstration of your own task completed on a phone in airplane mode and recovered afterwards. Offline work needs prior authentication and a project download, and it differs by platform, so run it on the device types your crews carry.
    • Whether a status, checked item or signature is enough as inspection evidence for your purposes: none of them by itself proves inspection quality, signer identity or approval, and that signing as someone else, or an outside party signing a PDF, needs explicit governance.
    • How a change to an account or project template reaches checklists already in use. Edits do not automatically update every checklist, so ask what a site must do to adopt a revised template and what warns users that a version is obsolete.
    • Which safety processes would stay outside the product: it supports construction coordination and is not a complete preconfigured EHS control system, so the subscription price is not the whole cost of a safety programme.
    • Who in your organisation carries the administrator review that OCR-assisted plan naming and versioning require, and how that review fits a busy plan-revision week.
    • A two-device offline edit across a plan revision and a permission change, ending in the conflicts, the recovered attachments and the record that counts as final.

Vendor sources support the recorded prices and plan terms. Explanatory summaries, worked examples and quote questions are The QHSE Standard's editorial interpretation or calculations, not vendor statements.

    Sources and editorial scope, rechecked

Pricing recheck, : Public tier prices and billing differences were reviewed; selected dollar currency needs confirmation. A limited 14-day Business beta trial is documented for eligible new US/Canada accounts, not every buyer. Basic remains a separate free tier.
