    Consider Evotix when…

    • You need incidents, risk assessments, inspections, training and contractor records in one system, and can say for each whether Professional covers it or Enterprise is required.
    • Permit, change-control or process-safety work is on the requirement list, and you will have the Enterprise application quoted and demonstrated rather than assumed.

    Professional lists eight core areas: incidents with root-cause investigation and corrective actions, risk registers and assessments, audits and inspections, training, contractor onboarding and approvals, assets, behaviour-based safety and environmental records, plus a safety climate assessment tool. Enterprise additionally lists Permit to Work, Management of Change, Lockout and Tagout, Process Safety Management, occupational health, emissions and SDS and chemical management; a listing does not establish that an application is in Professional or how deep it goes. The mobile page describes offline incident and hazard reporting with synchronisation on reconnection, voice to text, photos, GPS and QR access to equipment instructions. Request a quote for your user count, sites, selected modules and implementation needs; implementation is a separate one-time fee that depends on the amount of customisation, and no contract term is published.

    Consider Mitti (by SafetyCulture) when…

    • You are starting with inspections, issues and corrective actions, and can test the Free plan or the 14-day Premium trial on real recurring work.
    • You can map inspectors, investigators, reviewers and occasional contributors to full, lite and guest seats before costing the rollout.
    Published scope

    The Free plan allows 10 active users and unlimited inspections with 5 active templates. On 25 September 2026 the pricing page displayed Premium at $24 per seat per month billed annually or $29 monthly, excluding taxes; its pricing FAQ says billing is in USD outside Australia and New Zealand. Enterprise and per-location pricing, with everyone at a site included, are quoted. The help center describes Investigations as capturing incident details, gathering evidence, analysing root causes and assigning corrective actions, without naming a root-cause method, and its OSHA reporting article describes Form 300, 300A and 301 downloads as PDF and CSV; only full seats can create investigations, and establishments, custom investigation fields, third-party integrations and Word, CSV, Excel or JSON exports are Premium features. Offline work is mobile-only after preparation, and Investigations is on neither the supported nor the unsupported offline list.     Run these three tasks in both demos

    1. Report a hazard with a photo while disconnected in each proposed app, reconnect and assign the follow-up.

      Acceptance evidence: Record the product, plan and seat used. For Mitti, prepare the content before disconnecting and check the step against the unsupported offline list; for Evotix, use the Professional or Enterprise app you would buy. After reconnecting, inspect server receipt, attachments, GPS or annotations, and the assigned owner.

    2. Escalate a serious incident into an investigation and close it with evidence.

      Acceptance evidence: Show who can open the investigation (in Mitti, a full seat), how evidence and root causes are recorded, and that an inadequate closure can be rejected. For US recordkeeping, produce OSHA Forms 300, 300A and 301 from the case; for a UK RIDDOR report, show which steps happen outside the platform: Evotix's incident management page says it automates OSHA and RIDDOR tracking but does not describe the report output, and the Mitti help articles reviewed cover OSHA forms, not RIDDOR.

    3. Change a risk control after an inspection finding and, if permits or change control are in scope, run one request.

      Acceptance evidence: For Evotix, show whether the risk register and any Permit to Work or Management of Change application are in the quoted product. For Mitti, ask for a permit or change workflow to be demonstrated and record it as open scope if none is shown. Export the complete history in a format the quoted plan includes.

    Keep the decision open if…

    Keep the decision open if a demonstrated step belongs to Evotix Enterprise while Professional is quoted, a Mitti step needs a Premium feature or a full seat that the seat mix lacks, or an offline step has only been shown online. No implementation duration was established for either vendor, Evotix publishes no contract term (it describes its commercial options as flexible), and neither vendor's reviewed pages establish clause-by-clause ISO 45001, 14001 or 9001 mapping or CSRD output.

    Align the proposals

    Give both vendors the same sites, reporters, investigators, reviewers and export needs. For Evotix, name Professional or Enterprise and each module, and get the subscription and the one-time implementation fee as separate lines. For Mitti, name the plan and the full, lite and guest seat mix, or ask for per-location pricing where headcount changes by site, and confirm billing currency and what Enterprise adds. Ask both for support hours, response times, single sign-on and data export in writing.

    Where the two scopes differ

    The guide above frames this as two ways of bounding scope, edition and module on one side, plan and seat on the other. The records add where the regulatory outputs differ. The Mitti record documents investigations from which OSHA Forms 300, 300A and 301 can be downloaded, in PDF or as a CSV for preparing an upload, and says direct submission is not described. The Evotix record says its incident pages mention automated OSHA, RIDDOR and other regional tracking, but leaves the edition, classification logic, forms produced and any electronic submission unestablished. RIDDOR is named in the Evotix record and not in the Mitti one.

    The two records also differ in what sets the limits. Evotix lists safety data sheet management, permit to work, management of change and lockout and tagout on its Enterprise page, and the record states that none of these can be assumed in Professional. Mitti's limits are set by plan and seat, for example that investigations and integrations need a full seat. In both, a demo can show a feature that is not in the edition or plan you are quoted.

    Field capture is similar in kind. Evotix lists voice-to-text, photos, GPS and annotation on its mobile page without stating languages or offline dictation; Mitti documents AI voice drafts that require a recent mobile version, with offline processing not established. The Evotix record documents offline incident and hazard reporting, but not offline chemical assessment in every edition.

    When each is the safer first demo

    Start with Evotix when

    Evotix is the safer first demo when the requirement list already includes permits, change control, isolation or chemicals. Ask for the Enterprise application to be shown and quoted by name, and ask the same question about Professional, so that the demo environment matches the edition on the order form.

    Start with Mitti (by SafetyCulture) when

    Mitti is the safer first demo when the requirement is inspections, issues and actions, and you can test on the Free plan or the trial using real recurring work. Do it before talking to Evotix, so that you arrive at the Evotix conversation with a defined list of what the inspection workflow must do.

    A two-week evaluation plan

    • Name Professional or Enterprise, then each application behind each requirement. Request the subscription and the one-time implementation fee as separate lines.
    • Ask which OSHA and RIDDOR outputs the quoted edition produces, in which forms, and whether submission is manual.

    Ask Mitti (by SafetyCulture)

    • Name the plan and the full, lite and guest seats, or ask for per-location pricing if headcount moves between sites.
    • Ask for the OSHA 300, 300A and 301 download to be shown from a test establishment and compared with your recordkeeper's current files.

    Week 1, record the same event in both: an incident captured on a phone with the connection off and a hazard with a photo, then reconnect and follow the action to closure. Note the app version for Mitti, since the voice feature is version dependent, and the prepared content for each. Neither vendor's record establishes an implementation duration, so do not infer one from the speed of the demo.

    Week 2, the regulatory and governance outputs. Produce the incident log your regulator expects from each product using test data, and have the person who files it today review the result. Then test a reviewer rejecting weak closure evidence in each, using only the seats and modules in the proposal. Close by asking both vendors for support hours, single sign-on and export terms in writing.

    Can Mitti (formerly SafetyCulture) replace an EHS suite such as Evotix?
    Only for the workflows you can demonstrate on the plan you would buy. Mitti documents inspections, issues, actions, training, assets, investigations and OSHA forms; our evidence records no permit-to-work, management-of-change or chemical workflow for it. Evotix lists those applications for Enterprise; its Professional page does not list them. List every process you need, map it to a Mitti plan and seat or an Evotix product and module, and test the gaps before deciding.
    Is SafetyCulture the same product as Mitti and iAuditor?
    Yes. SafetyCulture announced its rebrand to Mitti on 11 August 2026, and the product is now named Mitti (by SafetyCulture); iAuditor was an earlier product name. Links to SafetyCulture pages on this site refer to the same product. The rebrand does not by itself put a new feature in your plan.
    Is Evotix suitable for a small business?
    No minimum organisation size or public subscription price was established. Evotix describes Professional as designed for mid-market teams, quotes by users, sites, modules and implementation scope, and charges implementation as a separate one-time fee. Request a proposal sized for your headcount and compare its first-year total with Mitti's published plans.
    Which platform works better offline?
    This review does not rank them. Mitti supports offline use only in the mobile app after preparation, and lists analytics, notifications, lone worker, sensors and the template editor among the unsupported features. Evotix's mobile page describes offline incident and hazard reporting with automatic synchronisation and access to safety information without a signal; per-module coverage was not established. Test the same disconnected report, attachment and reconnection in both.
    Which product is cheaper?
    Comparable total cost has not been established. Request the same applications, users, sites, configuration, migration, integrations and support period from both vendors. Published entry pricing is subject to the plan conditions shown in each profile.
    How should I compare offline capability?
    Use the exact proposed mobile application and plan. Download required data, disconnect, create a record with a photo, reconnect and inspect synchronization. Record which preparation and tasks require connectivity.
    How should I decide between these products?
    Set acceptance criteria for your actual workflow. Complete the same demo, record observed results separately from vendor statements and resolve remaining questions in a scoped pilot. The linked profiles show the sources and review status for each product.
