    MRI OnLocation

The vendor's pages describe a cloud service recording who is on site, with kiosk or smartphone sign-in for visitors, contractors and employees, host arrival alerts, contractor inductions with expiry tracking, and an evacuation tool for roll calls by zone. They also describe SOS and panic alerts, overdue alerts for lone workers, and integrations with access control, directories and an API.

    Who is MRI OnLocation for?

Organisations with one or several sites needing visitor and contractor control, an emergency on-site list and lone worker alerts in one subscription. The pages describe presence, induction and evacuation, not other safety management functions. Offline use is not described. The visitor and pricing pages show different entry prices, and the security page cites the 2013 ISO 27001 edition, so ask for the current certificate.

Watch for: Offline operation is not described. Entry price differs between two vendor pages, and paid add-ons exist. Functions beyond presence, inductions and evacuation are not described.

Published price: USD 60 per month for one location on the Small plan, or USD 634 per year. Free trial documented. Sources checked .

    Capabilities and scope

MRI OnLocation is the name MRI Software's pages use today for the product sold as WhosOnLocation; page titles read "Formerly WhosOnLocation" and "Was WhosOnLocation". MRI Software announced the acquisition of the New Zealand company on 4 March 2021; the release gives no terms. This profile covers the people presence applications only, not the separate Footfall Analytics module on the OnLocation Suite page. Visitor, contractor and employee sign-in, inductions, emergency roll call and lone worker alerts; excludes the Footfall Analytics module.

    MRI OnLocation pricing

Published per-location plans (Small, Medium, Large) with monthly or annual billing; Custom plan on application

The pricing page lists Small, Medium and Large plans, each for one location, in six currencies, with a Custom plan on application for campuses and multi-occupier sites. In USD, Small is USD 60 per month or USD 634 per year, Medium is USD 170 per month or USD 1,780 per year and Large is USD 304 per month or USD 3,180 per year. Annual billing saves up to 15% and each location needs its own subscription. Plans cap yearly sign-ins (Small allows 3,000 for visitors and contractors and 30,000 for employees) and include an SMS allowance (500 a year on Small); extra SMS cost USD 0.05 each. OnScan, a photo-ID scanning add-on, is USD 15 per user per month. The page says there is no setup fee; paid managed setup is offered. Conflict: the visitor page says prices start from USD 55 per location per month, which does not match the USD 60 Small price here; confirm which applies. The free-trial page offers 14 days with full feature access and no credit card.

Separate pricing recheck date not recorded. Confirm current pricing with the vendor.

    Offline work and integrations

Kiosks are described on iPad and Windows tablets, and a mobile app for employees and contractors. Offline use is not described on the reviewed pages; test sign-in and the evacuation list with the network down.
