How Array (BuildArray) charges
Array bills per user, billed annually: Essential at $30 and Pro at $40 per user a month. Enterprise is quoted. There is no free plan, and the pricing page offers a 30-day free trial.
Renewal is automatic, enterprise terms run 12 months with 3 months' notice, fees are non-refundable, and there is a 14-day data download window after termination.
An older page on the previous domain still shows a free plan; the record did not use it.
Both published plans have a user ceiling, four on Essential and ten on Pro, so headcount decides the tier before features do. A site with eleven field users is above both published plans; the record names a quoted Enterprise tier, and that price is not on the page.
The allowances differ in kind as well as size. Essential is one pool of 500 submissions, 100 public and 1 GB of storage; Pro removes the submission cap, states its public allowance per user and raises storage to 50 GB. The record does not define what counts as public, so that term needs explaining before either limit is trusted.
The tool is priced as a form builder. Safety content comes from templates and your own design, with no built-in investigation, risk register or corrective-action module, so the subscription does not include the process around an incident; building it from forms and tasks is work the buyer carries.
Tasks, workflows and files are Pro features, which means the cheaper plan collects answers but does not route them. Escalating a serious answer to a manager is a workflow, so a team that needs it should budget for the Pro rate for those users.
The exit terms matter as much as the monthly rate. Fees are non-refundable and the window to download data after termination is a fixed 14 days, so an export of submissions, media and form designs should be tested well before any notice is given.

What each Array (BuildArray) plan covers, as recorded
- Essential
- Includes up to 4 users, 500 submissions, 100 public and 1 GB.
- Pro
- Includes up to 10 users, unlimited submissions, 100 public per user, 50 GB, workflows, tasks, files, MFA and SOC 2.
- Enterprise
- Quoted; adds API, webhooks and Buck Ai.
- Essential, what it leaves out
- Not included: tasks, workflows and files, which need Pro, and the API and webhooks, which are listed only for Enterprise.
- Trial scope
- The pricing page offers a 30-day free trial. The record does not say which plan it runs, and logic that escalates answers to tasks needs Pro, so confirm that the trial shows Pro.
Editorial quote checklist
What to ask Array (BuildArray) to put in the quote
Questions prepared by The QHSE Standard from the recorded terms and gaps; they are not statements from Array (BuildArray).
- Whether incident logic that escalates serious answers to a manager task runs on Pro, not only in an Enterprise trial: tasks, workflows and files need Pro.
- How a device that was offline receives a changed form, and what happens to drafts on the old version.
- What a submission contains when media is deleted before sync: queued offline forms lose media deleted before sync.
- The Enterprise price and how the public-submission limits are handled above 10 field users.
- What the public allowance counts and what happens when it is reached; the record does not define it.
- Whether Essential and Pro can be mixed on one account, so that only the people who need tasks and workflows pay the Pro rate.
- A worked example of an incident from first report to closed corrective action, built from templates and forms only, with the person who owns each step named.
- The SOC 2 report itself and its scope, not the label on the Pro plan, together with how MFA is enforced for field users.
- An export of all submissions, attached media and form definitions run during the trial, so the 14-day download window after termination is not the first time the format is seen.
- The date by which notice must be given to stop automatic renewal, entered in your calendar at signature, and whether Pro subscriptions follow the same notice as Enterprise.
- Whether the Bluetooth thermometer you use is on the supported list or needs a custom connection, tested in a food-safety check before temperature logging is part of the case for buying.
