How Resco Inspections & Audits charges
Resco lists Ultimate at EUR 50 per user per month on its inspections page; the platform pricing page adds annual payment upfront, a minimum of 10 licenses and taxes excluded. Admin is a separate licence at EUR 250 per user per month.
The EUR 50 figure is a field-user rate and nothing more. Payment is annual and upfront, so even a minimum-size purchase is one sum paid before the first inspection is completed, with taxes added to it. The reviewed pricing does not give a complete deployment price: backend, administrator and implementation costs were left for the quote.
Resco is not one product with one price. The record treats Resco Forms as the renamed questionnaire toolset and warns that the mobile app, Power Apps and the backend each change offline behaviour, media support, reports, administration and licensing. A rate attached to the name Inspections prices a licence; the part of the bill that varies with your design sits in the runtime and backend you pick.
The administrator licence costs five times the field-user rate per user, so the mix of people matters more than the headcount: a deployment with a few field users and several administrators prices very differently from the reverse. The record lists administration and implementation as costs on top of field-user cost.
The annual commitment and the licence minimum are flagged as an affordability problem for small teams: a small crew may pay for licences it will not use if the minimum applies, which is why the record asks the buyer to confirm whether it does.

What each Resco Inspections & Audits plan covers, as recorded
- Ultimate
- The rate the inspections page lists; the cheaper Essential tier is not a substitute for the Forms scope.
- Admin
- A separate administrator licence, listed apart from the field-user rate.
- Essential
- A cheaper tier is named in the record, but it warns against using it to price the Forms scope; ask for the Forms scope to be named in whichever tier is quoted.
- Backend, Power Apps and Dynamics licences
- Not part of the euro rates above. The record asks which of them are additional, so each is a separate line to confirm.
- Deployment and support
- Named in the quote request but given no published rate; a complete deployment price is not established.
Entry cost, worked out
Ultimate: 10 licenses × EUR 50 per user per month × 12 months = EUR 6,000 per year.
Resco Inspections & Audits for 10 and for 25 users, per year
| Rate | 10 users | 25 users |
|---|---|---|
| Ultimate, per user | 10 × EUR 50 × 12 = EUR 6,000 | 25 × EUR 50 × 12 = EUR 15,000 |
Field users only; administrator and backend licenses, deployment and support are not in these totals.
Editorial quote checklist
What to ask Resco Inspections & Audits to put in the quote
Questions prepared by The QHSE Standard from the recorded terms and gaps; they are not statements from Resco Inspections & Audits.
- How many administrator and backend licenses the deployment needs, and their price.
- Field users, administrators, backend licenses and configuration services itemised.
- The runtime and backend first: Power Apps offline configuration and Resco mobile synchronization are different implementation paths.
- Which runtime, backend, Resco product, Ultimate field licences and administrator licences the proposal includes.
- Whether the annual 10-licence minimum applies, and which backend, Power Apps or Dynamics licences are additional.
- Which questionnaire generation, app version and report engine will be used, and what migration work applies to future upgrades.
- The initial download, sync filters and exact asset, document and history records an offline inspector can reach.
- Which conflict policy applies to each editable table, and whether a mobile or server change can be overwritten without manual review.
- Runtime and backend choices change capability boundaries; the annual commitment and minimum licences affect small-team affordability.
- Photos, signatures, video, barcodes, repeating groups and reports shown on your own backend and the devices you will really issue, not on a generic demonstration.
- If the backend is Salesforce, which limitations apply with and without custom objects, in particular for binary questions and custom report layouts.
- If the path is Power Apps, which offline profile tables and relationships are required and who maintains them when your data model changes. That upkeep is a running cost, not a one-off setup task.
- Whether an administrator can switch local encryption off, and which device controls (MDM, app lock, remote lock or wipe, attachment handling) you will enforce yourself; the licence does not replace them.
- What the OData results service can read, and which supported interface handles writes or downstream actions: reading results is not the same as acting on them.
- How template revisions, questionnaires in progress and their reports are governed, so that nobody finishes an obsolete form after you change it.
- What audit history shows who completed, changed, synchronised, reviewed and approved each result. A PDF, signature image or CSV export is not by itself a compliant approval or electronic-signature process.
- The tax treatment for your country and entity on the first quote, and whether the upfront annual payment is invoiced once or can be split.
