How Fulcrum charges
Fulcrum charges per user per month in US dollars: Professional US$43 and Elite US$55. Every plan is an annual subscription with at least five users; Enterprise needs a proposal.
Five seats on an annual term is the smallest purchase. A team of two inspectors still pays for five seats for the whole term, so for a very small crew the cost per person actually working is above the published rate, and the sensible comparison is the total commitment, not the per-user figure.
The difference between the two published rates is paid on every seat. Because published API access is placed in Elite, a team that needs to send records to another system may need to price the subscription at the Elite rate; ask whether only some seats can be on Elite.
The per-user rate is a seat price, not a total: additional storage and services are confirmed separately, and taxes come on top. Inspection work that attaches photos and video tends to use more storage than text-only forms, so the storage line deserves its own figure.
What was rechecked is the public offer: the dollar prices, the annual five-user minimum, the package line for the API and the advertised 14-day trial. A customer's own tenant, custom fees or a negotiated agreement were outside that check, so a quote may legitimately differ from the page.

What each Fulcrum plan covers, as recorded
- Professional
- Not included: published API access, which needs Elite.
- Elite
- Includes published API access.
- Enterprise
- By proposal.
- Storage and services
- Additional storage and services are confirmed apart from the per-user rate, and the record gives no amount for either.
- Trial
- A 14-day trial is advertised on the official trial page. Which package it opens is not stated in the record, so passing a test in the trial does not show that the cheaper tier is enough.
- Choosing between Professional and Elite
- The deciding question is the connection to other systems, because published API access is in Elite. If records never leave the app, the API line does not apply and the question is mainly the five-user minimum.
Entry cost, worked out
Professional: 5 users × USD 43 per user per month × 12 months = USD 2,580 per year.
Fulcrum for 5 and for 25 users, per year
| Rate | 5 users | 25 users |
|---|---|---|
| Professional, per user | 5 × USD 43 × 12 = USD 2,580 | 25 × USD 43 × 12 = USD 12,900 |
| Elite, per user | 5 × USD 55 × 12 = USD 3,300 | 25 × USD 55 × 12 = USD 16,500 |
The totals cover seats only, at the published rates and for twelve months; storage, services and taxes are not in them.
Editorial quote checklist
What to ask Fulcrum to put in the quote
Questions prepared by The QHSE Standard from the recorded terms and gaps; they are not statements from Fulcrum.
- Annual users, storage, integration services, taxes and renewal conditions as separate lines.
- Which package the API connection to your asset system needs.
- Package access during the advertised 14-day trial.
- Any custom fees and the negotiated terms, in writing: the published prices are the public offer, not tenant access or a negotiated agreement.
- For a crew of fewer than five, the cost of the five-user annual commitment against the work it covers.
- Disconnect, record a finding with media and show the synchronized cloud record: cloud receipt depends on reconnection.
- What happens when one record is changed on two devices: reconciliation without losing evidence.
- Prove the prepared map and record workflow on the intended device.
- The format and package for sending one finished inspection record to your asset or maintenance system, shown with a real export rather than described.
- Whether the Elite price applies to every seat or only to those who need API access, and what happens to the rate if the team grows beyond the five-seat minimum.
- A storage allowance per user stated in writing, the price of extra capacity and what happens to media when an account lapses.
- How the annual term renews, whether the rate and seat count carry over, and how much notice is needed to end it.
- Whether data and app definitions built during the 14-day trial carry into the paid account, and which package the trial opened.
- A rule for how your own crews confirm that a record has reached the cloud before leaving site, since receipt depends on reconnection and offline capture alone is not a handoff.
- The map layers and work area your crews need, prepared on the phone or tablet they will carry, then tested in a place without signal.
- Evidence that when two devices change one record the earlier version remains viewable to the reviewer, so a conflict cannot silently remove an observation.
